St. Conleth's chess players meet at lunchtime every Tuesday. All are welcome. All levels of chess ability are catered for - from novice to Grand Master!

We participate in the Leinster Schools Chess Association every year at Minor and Junior levels. This years competition is underway. We've chalked up a win against Oatlands College and Castleknock College but failed to beat excellent teams from Gonzaga and St. Benildus.

This year the school is running an internal chess tournament for the St. Conleth's College Chess Trophy. 114 students are participating and the competition is at the 3rd round stage.
